Ultrasound North began in 2009 as a specialist gynaecology and obstetric ultrasound service, which supported the gynaecology and fertility treatments being offered at both Gynae North and Fertility North, the practice's sister clinics.

Over time the practice has grown organically through word of mouth, and now the practice is taking the next step in expanding its services to include general ultrasound.
